The Hong Kong, China Squash Team — comprising Lau Tsz Kwan Alex, Leung Chi Hin Henry, Ho Tze Lok Tomato and Lee Ka Yi — is competing at the SDAT Squash World Cup 2025 being held in Chennai, India from 9 to 14 December. Listed as top seed of the tournament, the team successfully advanced to the quarter-finals as Pool A winner with a total of six points from the pool stage.

On the opening day of pool matches (9 December), Team Hong Kong, China faced 10th seed Team Republic of Korea, producing a dominant performance to claim a clean 4-0 victory and make a strong start to their way.

The team then met the 7th seed Team South Africa for the final pool matches this afternoon — Leung Chi Hin Henry and Lau Tsz Kwan Alex lost to their opponents by 0-3 and 2-3 respectively, while Ho Tze Lok Tomato and Lee Ka Yi secured convincing wins 3-1 and 3-0. The tie concluded two-all, with Team Hong Kong, China finishing top of Pool A and advancing to the last eight. They will meet the Runner up of Pool B, 9th seed Team Switzerland in tomorrow’s quarter-finals.
