The Squash Association of Hong Kong, China extends its heartfelt congratulations to athlete Lau Tsz Kwan Alex for being selected as a flag bearer for Team Hong Kong, China at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu. This honour not only recognizes Alex’s outstanding performance in squash but also highlights his exemplary representation of Hong Kong athletes on the international stage.

As Hong Kong’s leading male squash player, Alex won the men’s singles gold medal at the 23rd Asian Squash Individual Championships held in Malaysia in June 2025, becoming the third Hong Kong athlete in history to achieve this distinction. Tonight, he will join wushu athlete Lydia Sham Hiu-yu in carrying the flag of Hong Kong, China at the opening ceremony at the Tianfu International Convention Centre, a truly remarkable opportunity.
