The Hong Kong, China Squash Team has delivered an outstanding performance at the 12th World Games held in Chengdu, China. Competing in their first-ever international multi-sport event, all four athletes showcased impressive skill, determination, and gaining invaluable experience on this global stage.
Women's player Ho Tze Lok Tomato competed today in the Bronze Medal match against Spain’s 5/8 seed Dominguez Marta. In the first game, Tomato started slightly off and narrowly lost 10-12. The second game saw her continue to battle, though she ultimately fell short with 5-11. In the third game, despite suffering an unfortunate injury early on, Tomato showed remarkable resilience and persevered to complete the match. She ultimately finished with a commendable 4th place, concluding the match 0-3 (10-12, 5-11, 2-11).
