Organized by Squash Association of Hong Kong, China, subvented by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and supported by Hong Kong Football Club, the quarter-finals of “Hong Kong Squash Championships 2024 - Men’s & Women’s Championships” have been completed successfully this evening at Hong Kong Football Club.

The Women’s top seed Ho Tze Lok Tomato knocked out the 5/8 seed Tse Yee Lam Toby by 3-1 (11-8, 9-11, 11-8, 11-7), while second seed Lee Ka Yi also won 5/8 seed Fung Ching Hei Heylie by 3-1 (11-9, 6-11, 11-9, 11-3).

3/4 seed Tong Tsz Wing eliminated 5/8 seed Kwong Ena in straight three (11-6, 11-8, 11-5) to advance, while the unseeded Tang Helen reached the Semifinals for the first time after beating Cheng Nga Ching Sara by 3-1 (11-7, 11-13, 11-9, 11-4).

And the Men’s top seed Lau Tsz Kwan Alex had a hard battle with 9/16 seed To Wai Lok Oto. Alex took the opening two sets to lead, however, Oto fought back and tied the game to 2-2, Alex eventually won the fifth set and secured his spot in the Semis by 3-2 (11-5,11-7, 6-11, 4-11, 11-5), while second seed Leung Chi Hin Henry suppressed 5/8 seed Ling To Yu Andes in straight games (11-7, 11-3, 11-5).

3/4 seed Lai Cheuk Nam Matthew defeated 5/8 seed Chung Yat Long Leo 3-0 (12-10, 11-6, 11-7), while the 5/8 seed Wong Chi Him knocked out 3/4 seed Tang Ming Hong by another 3-0 (11-4, 11-8, 11-5).
