The WSF World Doubles Squash Championships 2022 will take place between 4 to 9 April in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Ten Male and Female Hong Kong athletes will pair up and competing with the players from other fourteen countries / regions in the Championships. It will be the first time for this new batch of Hong Kong team to participate in the World Doubles Squash Championships.

Yip Tsz Fung will be partnering with Henry Leung, while Alex Lau and Tang Ming Hong will be combined to join the Men’s event; and the Women’s duo consists of Ho Tze Lok and Tong Tsz Wing. In the Mixed Doubles, the experienced Max Lee will team up with Liu Tsz Ling; while Wong Chi Him will join the event together with Lee Ka Yi.

As the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games will be upcoming in September this year, the team have been training and participating in tournaments overseas since the second half of 2021 to get well prepared. The team is now training in London and will be heading to Scotland on 1 April.

It was highly recognized that for the team’s effort to achieved remarkable results in last year’s Team and Individual Asian Championships. The WSF World Squash Doubles Championship 2022 will also be a good opportunity for the team to practice doubles and we believe that the new lineups will certainly surprise us by striving their best results.
