2009 is a milestone year for Squash as we are approaching our ultimate target of Squash becoming an Olympic Sport. A shortlist announced by the IOC in April 2008 lists Baseball, Golf, Karate, Roller Sports, Rugby, Softball and Squash as the candidate sports and two out of these seven sports will be in the 2016 Olympics.

In making our Squash dream come true, all the involved parties in the Squash family including coaches, players, referees, sports administrators need to join their hands and hearts together. This conference provides a golden opportunity and open platform for all the coaches and administrators from all over the world to share their values and ideas in achieving our Olympic dream and improvement of squash coaching and development techniques. In addition to the Olympic updates, other professional knowledge in coaching, squash rules update, junior development systems, sports science, sports medicine and marketing of squash will be discussed intensively in this conference.
