The well-established “Prince Hong Kong Junior Championships 2019” reached a successful end after seeing the top seeds to be crowned as the new Hong Kong Junior Champion in five different aged division with Chan Sin Yuk defending her GU19 title and To Wai Lok claiming his first BU19 title at Hong Kong Squash Centre.
Chan Sin Yuk, the first seed of the tournament, retained her Girls Under 19 title by outplaying second seed Li Wing Sze with a convincing straight win. Chan powered away in first two games as only the third game was tighter before closing out the match at 11-2, 11-1 and 11-5.
In Boys Under 19 final, first seed To Wai Lok defeated Tang Pui Lok in a thrilling five-game battle to capture his maiden BU19 champion title. To took the 2-1 lead, however Tang fought back to force a decider. In the fifth, a resilient To managed to regain the control to prevail at 11-4,6-11,11-6, 7-11 and 11-5.
