(31 Mar) Hong Kong junior boys keep winning at the second tournament - Sarah Fitz-Gerald Classic - in the 2008 National Junior Squash Series played in Ballarat yesterday. Clean sweep for Hong Kong boys

(26 Mar) Hong Kong players made a clean sweep of the boys¡¦ events at the first tournament in the 2008 National Junior Squash Series played in Ballarat on Tuesday (25/3/2008). Queensland's J. Alexander was the only non-Hong Kong player to make a boys' final in the Geoff Hunt Classic - in the 19 years age group - but he found Leo Au too hot to handle and went down in straight games. Other boys¡¦ winners were Fung Ngo-Long (17 years), Yip Tsz-Fung (15 years) and Tse Man-Ho (13 years). The Geoff Hunt Classic will be followed by the Sarah Fitz-Gerald Classic, which begins in Ballarat on Thursday.

HK retain the title of the "Inter-Cities Tournament 2008"

(24 Mar) Congratulations to our Hong Kong Team players including (from left) Wong Wai-hang, Roger Ngan, Wong King Yat, Wong King Ngo, Szeto Ka-hei, Chan Wing-hei and Ho Tsz-lok. They beat Beijing, Chinese Taipei, Macau, Shanghai and Guangzhou 5-0 to win the 4th 'Inter-Cities Tournament 2008' in HK.

Fujifilm Mini-squash Carnival cum Inter-school Mini-squash Team Competition Prize Presentation Ceremony (postponed)

(13 Mar) In response to the important announcement made by the Education Bureau of the HKSAR Government about suspending the primary school and kindergarten curriculum temporarily, Hong Kong Squash had decided to postpone the ¡§Fujifilm Mini-squash Scheme 2007/08 ¡V Carnival cum Inter-school Mini-squash Team Competition Prize Presentation Ceremony¡¨ scheduled on 16 March 2008 (this coming Sunday) to July. Details will be announced later.

Max Lee ends in the quarter-finals

(27 Feb) After the Asian Squash Championships, Max Lee Ho-yin went to Kuala Lumpur for the PSA ranking tournament - NSC Super Satellite No. 1 2008. (21 Feb) The HK women's team - Rebecca Chiu Wing-yin, Christina Mak Pui-hin, Elise Ng Jia-yunn and Joey Chan Ho-ling stormed into their respective final against Malaysia in the Asian Squash Championships in Kuwait. Annie Au received the HKJSS Awards

(20 Feb) Congratulation Annie Au Wing-chi who won her last and three-times HK Junior Sports Stars Award organized by SF&OC HK, China. Au performed extremely well throughout the year winning her first Asian Junior Championships title and Bronze medal at the World Junior Championships. (15 Feb) Three HK women's players - Rebecca Chiu Wing-yin, Christina Mak Pui-hin and Elise Ng Jia-yunn - have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Asian Squash Championships in Kuwait while the men's players, Dick Lau Siu-wai, Max Lee Ho-yin and Wong Wai Hang stopped in the third round and Anson Kwong Yu-shun lost in the second. HKSSF Inter-school Squash Team Competition 2007/2008

(4 Feb) Congratulations to La Salle College, Heep Yunn School and Jockey Club Ti-I College who retained the HK Island & Kowloon Boy's Team Champion, HK Island & Kowloon Girl's Team Champion, and NT Boy's Team & Girl's double Champion at the "HK School Sports Federation Inter-school Squash Team Competition 2007/2008" last Sunday. La Salle College defeated Diocesan Boy's School 5-0 in the Boy's final while Heep Yunn School won over Sacred Heart Canossian College in 2-1. Double Champion Jockey Club Ti-I College beat Shun Tak Fraternal Association Leung Kau Kui College 4-1in NT Boy's final and defeated Yan Chai Hospital No.2 Secondary School in 3-0 to defend the NT Girl's Champion.

Chiu won the WISPA Hangzhou Open 2008

(25 Jan) HK's Rebecca Chiu beat Christina Mak in the final of the WISPA Hangzhou Open held in Hangzhou Squash Hall. Chiu beat Mak 3-0 to take her second WISPA title this year.

Breakthrough in the British Junior Open

(7 Jan) Annie Au won the silver medal in the Girl's Under-19 competitions, being the first HK junior player to win a medal in the highest under-19 category of this major junior tournament in the world. Annie's younger brother, Leo Au, also finished top eight in the Boy's Under-19 competitions - again another breakthrough for HK junior boys in this category. British Junior Open is regarded as the Grand Prix of international junior tournaments with all the top juniors from around the world competing. Congratulations to Annie and Leo for their achievements and thanks also go to Tony Choi, the National Coach and his team of coaches for their years of hard work in taking the standard of the HK junior players to a new height.
