Au ousts Kawy in Singapore |

(29 Jul) Congratulations to Annie Au who records her first victory over a top 10 player -- the biggest upset of the first round of the CIMB Singapore Women's Masters played yesterday. Annie stunned Egypt's world No.6 Omneya Abdel Kawy by 3-2 in a 46-minute match with the support and supervision from her coach Tony Choi. We wish Annie and Tony continued success in the match later today when Annie will play against another top 10 player, Madeline Perry from Ireland.

Au won the World University Championships 2010 |

(14 Jul) Congratulations to Annie Au Wing-chi who won the World University Squash Championships 2010 being held in Melbourne, Australia. Au beat England's Emma Chorly 11-8, 11-5, 11-4 in the final of the individual women's event and become the first squash player won the world university title in Hong Kong. Well done, Annie!!

Annie claims Pyramides title |

(5 Jul) Top seeded Annie Au captured the "WISPA Pyramides" title in Port Marly, France, with a four game win over second seed Dominique Lloyd-Walter in the final. The win marks Au's second WISPA World Tour title success this year - but the seventh of her career. Well done, Annie!!

(2 Jul) Yesterday was a great day for squash with three persons in our Elite Team
appearing on the 2010 Honours List as announced by the Hong Kong Government.
Tony Choi, Head Coach of HK Squash, will receive the Medal of Honour while Dick
Lau and Annie Au, our top athletes, will receive the Chief Executive's
Commendation for Community Services. Tony and his team of elite athletes
achieved a historic result of 7 golds and 5 silvers in the last 2009 HK East
Asian Games. Congratulations to Tony(photo on the top), Dick and Annie! We are proud of you. |
