HKSSF Inter-School Squash Team Competition 2009/10 |

(8 Feb) Congratulations to La Salle College, Heep Yunn School and Jockey Club Ti-I College who once again retained the HK Island & Kowloon Boy's Team Champion, HK Island & Kowloon Girl's Team Champion, and NT Boy's & Girl's team Double Champion respectively at the "HK School Sports Federation Inter-school Squash Team Competition 2009/10" held on last Sunday.
La Salle College defeated Diocesan Boy's School 3-2 in the HK & Kowloon Boy's final while Heep Yunn School won over Sacred Heart Canossian College 3-0 in Girl's final.
While in NT region, Jockey Club Ti-I College beat Shatin Government Secondary School 4-1 in Boy's final and 3-0 in Girl's final to defend the NT Double Champion.

(29 Jan) Today in the semi-finals of the Chairman's Cup 2010, second seeded Hong Kong's Rebecca Chiu lost to Australia's Donna Urquhart 0-3 while top seeded Jacklyn Hawkes of New Zealand dismissed Joshna Chinappa of India 3-0. (28 Jan) Second seeded Hong Kong's Rebecca Chiu beat her team-mate Joey Chan in the quarter-finals of the Chairman's Cup 2010 which is being held at the HK Squash Centre. Chiu will meet Australia's Donna Urquhart in the semi-finals tomorrow at 5pm while top seeded Jacklyn Hawkes of New Zealand will be playing Joshna Chinappa of India at 5:45pm. (25 Jan) Congratulation to Joey Chan Ho-ling who won the Indian Challenger held between 18 to 23 Jan in Chennai, India. The 2nd seeded Chan exhibited total focus in her game through out the match winning against 3rd seeded England's Lauren Siddall 3-0 in the final. (25 Jan) Congratulation to all Champions in HKSSF Inter-school Squash Individual Competition 2009/10 held on last Saturday.
For Boys event, Fung Ngo Long beat Choy Kit Lun 3-1 in A Grade, Yeung Ho Wai beat Wong Chi Him 3-0 in B Grade and Tse Man Ho beat Lo Cheuk Hin 3-2 in C Grade.
For Girls event, Tong Tsz Wing beat Liu Tsz Ling 3-1 in A Grade. Ho Ka Po beat Ho Tze Lok 3-0 in B Grade whilst Choi Uen Shan beat Chan Pui Hei 3-0 in C Grade.

(22 Jan) This is a "Super Satellite" world tour women's tournament of 16-draw sanctioned by the Women's International Squash Players Association (WISPA) with a total prize money of US$12,000. Wong Wai Hang - the National Coach of China |

(6 Jan) The four-time HK Men’s Champion, Mr. Wong Wai Hang, has retired from the elite squad and will be employed as the National Coach of China by the Chinese Squash Association starting the 11th of this month. He will be based in Shanghai to training up the Chinese National Team. This is encouraging for squash professionals of Hong Kong whose expertise is widely recognized in the region. We congratulate Wong for being offered such an important position and wish him every success in his new challenge.

(6 Jan) HKSSF Inter-School Squash Individual Competition 2009/10 will be held on 16, 17 & 23 January 2010 at Hong Kong Squash Centre. This year, the tournament attracts total 232 students from 57 schools participate. Please come and support all the junior players!

(23 Dec) Congratulation to our juniors who captured 5 gold medals (Fung Ngo Long – BU19, Ho Tze Ho – BU17, Yeung Ho Wai – BU15, Chu Ka Hei – GU15, Choi Uen Shan - GU13), 3 silvers (Choy Kit Lun – BU19, Lo Cheuk Hin – BU15, Chan Pui Hei – GU15), 4 bronzes (Tang Cheuk Yan – BU17, Ng Ka Yiu – BU13, Lee Ka Yi - GU17, Lam Wing Hei – GU13) at the Kuala Lumpur Junior Open Squash Championships 2009 held in Malaysia on 17th to 21st December 2009. 5th East Asian Games - Celebration & Incentive Presentation |

(21 Dec) The HK Squash Team was extremely honoured to receive a special greeting from the Chief Executive of the HKSAR, Mr Donald Tsang, who was present at the Celebration Luncheon earlier today. The medalists then received the special cash incentives of total amount HK$400,000 jointly offered by Chairman Mui and Vice-Chairman Tong for their historic achievement in the 5th East Asian Games. Thanks again to Mr Mui & Mr Tong for their generosity and encouragement to our athletes.

1st HKSSF Inter-School Mini-squash Competition 2009/2010 |

(15 Dec) Inter-school Mini-squash Competition will be held on 9 & 10 January 2010 at the Cornwall Street Squash Centre, Kowloon Tong, which is organized by Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation, supported by Hong Kong Squash and sponsored by Fujifilm.
This year, the tournament is attracting total 219 primary students from 42 schools.Please come and support all the junior players!

(12 Dec) Congratulations to the Hong Kong doubles teams who won all the gold and silver medals in the HKG 2009 EAG. In the final of the women's doubles, Rebecca Chiu/ Joey Chan beat Annie Au/ Elise Ng 2-0, while Dick Lau/ Roger Ngan beat Anson Kwong/ Wong Wai-hang 2-1 in the men's doubles and Annie & Leo Au beat Rebecca Chiu/ Roger Ngan 2-0 in the mixed doubles. We were very honoured to have Mr. John CC Chan, Member of the 5th EAG Planning Committee, Mr. Mui, Chairman of HK Squash and Mr. Tong, Vice-chairman of HK Squash to presenting the medals to our athletes.

(6 Dec) Congratulations to Rebecca Chiu Wing-yin and Dick Lau Siu-wai who took the gold medal of the singles event in the HKG 2009 EAG. In the women's fnal, Rebecca Chiu defeated Annie Au 3-1 while Dick Lau beat Max Lee 3-1 in the men's final. In the men's team event, HKG dismissed Macau 2-0 to reach the semi-final.
